Getting There

    Start at Taupo town center. Head towards the lakefront along Lake Terrace, which is approximately 1 km from the center. Continue walking along the lakefront until you reach the intersection with Spa Road. Turn left onto Spa Road and follow it for about 3 km. Look for signs guiding you to Huka Falls. You will see a sign for Huka Falls Walkway on your right. The walkway entrance is located near the thermal spa area.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Taupo. Begin your ride from the town center and head towards the lakefront along Lake Terrace. After about 1 km, turn left onto Spa Road. Continue cycling on Spa Road for approximately 3 km. Watch for signs indicating Huka Falls and the walkway. The entrance to the walkway will be on your right, close to the thermal spa.
