Getting There

Walking
Start at the Timaru i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1-5 George Street. From there, head east on George Street towards the intersection with Stafford Street. Turn right onto Stafford Street and walk until you reach the intersection with South Street. Turn left onto South Street. Continue walking along South Street for approximately 2.5 kilometers. As you approach Kensington Park, keep an eye out for signage directing you toward Patiti Point. The entrance to Patiti Point will be on your left, just before you reach the coastal area.

Begin your journey at the Timaru i-SITE Visitor Centre at 1-5 George Street. Rent a bike if you haven't already. From the visitor centre, cycle east on George Street and turn right onto Stafford Street. Continue cycling along Stafford Street until you reach South Street. Turn left onto South Street and cycle down for approximately 2.5 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to Patiti Point as you approach Kensington Park. The entrance to Patiti Point will be on your left, just before the coastline.
