If you're in central Timaru, start at the Timaru i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 1 George Street. From there, head south on George Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with The Bay Hill. Turn left onto The Bay Hill and continue walking towards the harbor. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Timaru Port. The Little Blue Penguins can be found at the coastal area of the port, specifically towards the southern end near the breakwater.
