    If you are in the Whangarei Town Centre, start at the Town Basin area. Walk towards the Quayside area, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head south on Bank St towards Robert St, then turn left onto Robert St. Continue straight until you reach the Town Basin. Once at the Town Basin, follow the waterfront path heading east. After a short walk along the waterfront, you will see signs directing you to Whangarei Marina on your left.

    From Whangarei Town Centre, take the local bus service towards the Whangarei Marina. Look for the bus stop on Bank St near the Town Basin. Board the bus that is heading towards Quayside. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the Quayside stop, which is very close to the marina. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the water, and you will find Whangarei Marina right by the waterfront.
