If you are in the center of Masaya, start at the main square (Parque Central de Masaya). Head east along Calle 4 (also known as Calle La Calzada) for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1. Turn left onto Avenida 1 and continue walking for another 15 minutes. You will pass by local shops and cafes, which are great spots to grab a snack or drink. As you walk, you will see signs directing you towards Plaza Nicaragua. After about 25 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Plaza Nicaragua, which is a popular gathering place.

From the central market (Mercado de Masaya), take a local bus heading to Managua. The buses are marked with their destinations and usually leave frequently. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Plaza Nicaragua. The bus ride typically takes around 30 minutes. After getting off, follow signs pointing toward the plaza, which should be a short 5-minute walk away.

If you prefer to rent a bicycle, start at the main square of Masaya and head east on Calle 4 (Calle La Calzada). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, then take a left onto Avenida 1. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers. The ride is mostly flat and will take about 15-20 minutes. As you approach Plaza Nicaragua, keep an eye out for the large entrance and the park area.
