Getting There

• Bus

  From the central area of Abuja, head to the nearest bus terminal, such as the Area 1 Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading towards Mpape or Jabi. The fare is usually affordable (around 100-200 Naira). Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at 'Crushed Rock'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the Mpape area, ask locals for directions to 'Crushed Rock', which is a well-known landmark.

• Motorcycle Taxi (Okada)

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take an 'Okada' (motorcycle taxi) from any point in Abuja. Just ensure to negotiate your fare before the ride. Inform the rider that you are going to 'Crushed Rock'. They will take you directly to the site, and it should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Mpape area, you can walk to Crushed Rock. Start from the Mpape Market, and head towards the direction of the hills. Follow the main road that leads towards the Crushed Rock site. It is about a 15-20 minute walk, and you will see signs or locals that can guide you further.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the more adventurous traveler, consider renting a bicycle from local rental shops in Abuja. Start from the central area and cycle towards Mpape. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Once in Mpape, ask locals for directions to Crushed Rock.
