Car
From the IITA Forest Reserve main entrance, take the road leading south towards Apata. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction of Apata Road. Turn left onto Apata Road. Drive for another 3 kilometers, and you will see a signpost indicating Olubosun l'ake and dam. Follow the sign, and the lake will be on your right after another 2 kilometers.

Public Transportation
From the IITA Forest Reserve, you can take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Apata. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop within the reserve. Inform the driver that you are heading to Olubosun l'ake and dam. The ride should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the junction of Apata Road, disembark and walk for about 15 minutes along Apata Road. You will find the lake on your right after approximately 2 kilometers.

If you’re already within the IITA Forest Reserve and prefer to walk, head south from the main entrance towards Apata. It’s about a 10-kilometer trek to Olubosun l'ake and dam. Follow the road signs, and after reaching Apata Road, continue walking for another 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signpost for Olubosun l'ake, which will be about 2 kilometers ahead on your right.
