From Owerri city center, head to the Owerri main bus terminal located at Wetheral Road. Look for buses heading towards Ihitte-Uboma or any destination that passes through Elugwu Nkwumaeto. Board one of these buses, and inform the driver or conductor that you are heading to Abadaba Lake. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Elugwu Nkwumaeto, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Abadaba Lake. From the drop-off point, you may need to walk roughly 10-15 minutes to reach the lake.

If you prefer a faster route, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (known locally as Okada) from anywhere in Owerri. Specify that you want to go to Abadaba Lake in Elugwu Nkwumaeto, Ihitte-Uboma. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Ensure that the driver knows the exact location. Upon arrival, you may have a short walk depending on where the motorcycle drops you off.
