Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Asheville, head west on Patton Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Clingman Avenue. Turn left onto Clingman Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Riverside Drive. Turn right onto Riverside Drive and continue walking for approximately 0.7 miles. Look for the park entrance on your left at 508 Riverview Dr. The park is situated along the French Broad River, offering beautiful views and trails.

    From downtown Asheville, you can take the Asheville Transit bus #1 (towards West Asheville). Board the bus at the nearest stop on Patton Avenue. Ride for about 15 minutes and disembark at the stop closest to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Amboy Road. From there, walk about 0.3 miles south on Riverside Drive until you reach the entrance of French Broad River Park at 508 Riverview Dr.
