If you are driving, start from Uptown Charlotte. Head north on N Tryon St (US-29) for approximately 7 miles. Take the exit onto I-485 N toward Concord. After about 4 miles, take exit 36 for NC-24 N/NC-27 N toward Harrisburg. Continue on NC-24 N for about 3 miles, then turn right onto Windchase Ln. Croft Historic District will be located at 4804 Windchase Ln, Charlotte, NC 28269. Parking is available on the street.

To reach Croft Historic District using public transportation, start at any location in Uptown Charlotte and catch the CATS Light Rail at the Stonewall Station. Take the light rail north towards the University City area. Get off at the University City Blvd Station after about 20 minutes. From there, transfer to Bus 11 (University City) which will take you closer to the district. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the nearest stop to Windchase Ln. You'll need to walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach 4804 Windchase Ln. A single ride fare for the light rail is $2.20, and the bus fare is also $2.20, so budget around $4.40 total for the trip.
