    If you're traveling by car within Pisgah National Forest, head towards Highway 276. From the main entrance of the forest, follow the signs to Highway 276. Once on Highway 276, continue driving for approximately 5 miles. Sliding Rock will be on your right, just past the intersection with the Forest Service Road 475. Look for the designated parking area. Please note that there is a small entrance fee of $3 per person for access to Sliding Rock during the summer months.

    If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus or shuttle service to Brevard, NC, as direct public transport to Sliding Rock may not be available. Once in Brevard, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Sliding Rock. Ask the driver to take you to Highway 276, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. Upon arrival, you will have to walk about 0.2 miles from the parking area to reach the Sliding Rock natural waterslide.
