Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Garapan, head north on Beach Road (also known as Route 30). Continue walking straight for about 2 miles (around 30-40 minutes on foot). You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs directing towards Capitol Hill, as you will need to turn left onto the road leading up the hill. Continue on this road for another 1 mile until you reach the Banzai Cliff Monument. It's located at the end of the road, and you will see the monument overlooking the ocean.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Garapan. Start by heading north on Beach Road (Route 30) and maintain that direction for approximately 2 miles. After about 10-15 minutes of cycling, look for the left turn towards Capitol Hill. Take this turn and cycle up the hill for about another mile. The Banzai Cliff Monument will be at the end of the road, a great spot to park your bike and enjoy the view.
