Walking
If you are in Bryggen, the easiest way to reach The National Stage is by walking. Start from Bryggen, head towards the main road (Østre Skostredet) which is directly adjacent to Bryggen. From there, turn right onto the street that leads towards the city center (Strandgaten). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Engen street. Turn left on Engen street and walk approximately 200 meters. The National Stage will be on your right at Engen 1, 5803 Bergen. This walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take public transportation, you can use the bus system. From Bryggen, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at 'Torget' (Market Square). This stop is about a 5-minute walk from Bryggen. Catch bus number 3 or 4 towards 'Bergen sentrum'. Get off at the stop 'Bergen Busstasjon'. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head towards Engen street by walking southeast on Christies gate, then turn left onto Engen street. The National Stage will be at Engen 1, 5803 Bergen. Note that a single bus ticket costs around 38 NOK.

If you are driving, start your journey from Bryggen. Navigate towards Rådstuveien and then take the exit onto E39 towards Bergen sentrum. Follow the signs to 'Sentrum' and look for parking options nearby, as there is limited parking at Engen 1. The nearest parking facility is 'Bryggen Parking' located a few minutes' walk from The National Stage. Once parked, walk down to Engen street; The National Stage is located at Engen 1. Be aware that parking may incur fees, typically around 25-30 NOK per hour.
