Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Akron Civic Theatre, head east on W Bowery St toward S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and continue for about 0.3 miles. Take a right onto E Market St, and you will see Lock 2 Park on your right after a short walk of approximately 0.2 miles.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From the Akron Art Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop located on S High St. Take the 1 or 2 bus heading towards downtown Akron. After about a 5-minute ride, get off at the Main St & Market St stop. From there, walk east on Market St for about 0.1 miles, and you will reach Lock 2 Park.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bike from a local bike-share program, start from the nearby Cascade Locks Park. Head north on the Towpath Trail and then turn right onto E Market St. Continue for about 0.4 miles, and Lock 2 Park will be on your left.

• Walking

  Starting from the Akron Summit County Public Library, exit the library and head south on S High St. Walk for about 0.4 miles and turn right onto E Market St. Continue for another 0.2 miles, and you will find Lock 2 Park on your right.
