Getting There

• Public Bus

  From any location in North Hill, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the METRO RTA bus route 1, which travels along East Market Street. Board the bus heading towards the 'Akron City Center'. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Newton St & Mound St'. The fare for this ride is $1.50 for a single trip. Once you get off the bus, walk east on Newton Street for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the entrance of Goodyear Heights Metro Park at 2077 Newton St, Akron, OH 44305.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from North Hill directly to Goodyear Heights Metro Park. Start by heading south towards East Market Street, then take a left onto East Market. Follow East Market Street until you reach the intersection with Newton Street. Turn right onto Newton Street, and continue riding for approximately 1 mile. The park entrance will be on your left at 2077 Newton St. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws while biking.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, you can start from central North Hill. Head south on North Main Street until you reach East Market Street. Turn right onto East Market and walk for about 0.8 miles. When you reach the intersection with Newton Street, turn left and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will find Goodyear Heights Metro Park at 2077 Newton St. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can take about 30-40 minutes.
