Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Sandusky, head to the nearest bus stop along Shoreline Drive, where you can catch the Sandusky Transit System bus route that goes towards Cedar Point. Board the bus and ride until you reach the Cedar Point bus stop, which is well-marked. Once you get off, follow the sidewalk leading towards the Cedar Point entrance. Continue walking until you see the signs for Cedar Point Beach, which is located along the waterfront area.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Sandusky. Once you have your bike, head towards the waterfront on Shoreline Drive. Follow the bike path that runs along the lakeshore, which will take you directly toward Cedar Point. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate the way to Cedar Point Beach. The ride is scenic and should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

• Walking

  From downtown Sandusky, head towards the Cedar Point entrance by walking along the waterfront. Take Shoreline Drive and walk towards the Cedar Point area. It’s about a 30-40 minute walk. As you approach Cedar Point, you will start to see signs directing you to Cedar Point Beach. Follow the pedestrian paths leading to the beach area once you arrive at Cedar Point.
