If you are starting from downtown Zanesville, head east on Main Street towards 5th Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Wheeling Avenue. Turn left onto Wheeling Avenue and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will see the Muskingum River Y Bridge ahead. The bridge is easily visible from the road.
