Walking
Start at the Rustaq Fort, a prominent landmark in the town. From the fort, head east on the main road (Wadi Al-Ma'awil Road). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Saiq. At this intersection, turn right onto the road towards Saiq. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Saiq, look for signs for Wadi Bani Habib. Once you reach Saiq, ask locals for directions to the old village or look for signs that will guide you to the village which is about 3 kilometers from Saiq along an unnamed road. The village is situated in a beautiful valley, so be prepared for a short hike to fully appreciate the views.

From Rustaq, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Saiq. Buses usually depart from the central bus station in Rustaq. The journey to Saiq will take about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Saiq, you can walk to Wadi Bani Habib old village. Follow the main road and ask locals for directions; it's approximately 3 kilometers from the town center.
