Walking
From the center of Rustaq, begin at Rustaq Fort. Head southeast on the main road (Al Nuzha Street) for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Bani Kharus Road. Continue straight for another 2 km. You may encounter local shops or cafes where you can ask for directions if needed. After reaching the roundabout, take the second exit onto Wadi Bani Kharus Road. Continue walking along this road for about 4 km until you reach a small footpath leading into the wadi on your left. Follow the footpath into Wadi Bani Kharus. The geological formations will be visible as you walk further into the wadi.

Start at the Rustaq bus station located near the center of town. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Bani Kharus. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Wadi Bani Kharus stop. This journey may take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, ask locals for the footpath leading into the wadi. It's approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the geological site.
