Car
If you are driving from Portland, take I-84 E from downtown. Follow I-84 E for about 20 miles and take exit 16 to merge onto US-26 E towards Mount Hood. Continue on US-26 E for approximately 50 miles. When you reach Government Camp, turn left onto E Timberline Road. Timberline Lodge will be on your left at 27500 E Timberline Road.
Public Transportation
To reach Timberline Lodge using public transportation, start by taking the MAX Light Rail Blue Line from downtown Portland to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Mt. Hood Express bus (Route 600) towards Timberline Lodge. The bus will take you directly to Timberline Lodge, and the ride takes about 2 hours. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times.
Car
If you are coming from Clackamas, head northwest on SE 82nd Ave toward SE Johnson Creek Blvd, then merge onto I-205 N. Take exit 21B to merge onto I-84 E. Follow the same route as above by taking US-26 E towards Mount Hood. Once you reach Government Camp, turn left onto E Timberline Road to find Timberline Lodge.
Car
For visitors coming from Sandy, take OR-26 W towards Mount Hood. Drive for about 30 miles until you reach Government Camp. Turn right onto E Timberline Road, and you will find Timberline Lodge on your left at 27500 E Timberline Road.
