    If you're driving, take I-205 North from wherever you are in Clackamas County. Exit at US-26 East towards Mount Hood. Continue on US-26 for about 10 miles. Take the exit for NE 238th Dr, then turn left onto NE 238th Dr. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Jordan Rd. Turn right onto Jordan Rd, and the Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site will be on your left at 1 Jordan Rd, Troutdale, OR 97060. There is no entrance fee for the park.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site via public transport, start by taking the TriMet MAX Light Rail Blue Line from any stop in Clackamas County heading towards Downtown Portland. Transfer to the MAX Green Line at the Pioneer Square North station towards Clackamas Town Center. Get off at the Gateway/NE 99th Ave station. From there, you can catch Bus 77 towards Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center. Get off at NE 238th Dr & Powell Blvd, and then walk about 0.5 miles west on NE 238th Dr to Jordan Rd. Turn left on Jordan Rd, and you will find the park entrance. Note that public transport may take longer than driving, and a fare will be required for the MAX and bus services.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can take the Springwater Corridor Trail which connects to various parts of Clackamas County. Head towards the trail and follow it northbound. You’ll travel through scenic areas and eventually reach the vicinity of Troutdale. From the trail, find your way to Jordan Rd, and the Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site will be on your left. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws. No entrance fee is required to access the park.
