Car
If you are traveling by car, take Interstate 84 East from Portland, Oregon. Continue on I-84 until you reach Exit 40 for Corbett. Turn left onto Corbett Hill Road and follow it until you reach the junction with the Historic Columbia River Highway (US 30). Turn right onto US 30 and continue approximately 2 miles. Look for the Wahkeena Falls parking area on your right. Please note that parking is limited and can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail Blue Line to the Gresham City Hall station. From there, catch the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates seasonally and offers service to various destinations along the Columbia River Gorge, including Wahkeena Falls. Be sure to check the schedule as it may vary. Once you arrive at the Wahkeena Falls stop, you will have a short walk to the falls.
Walking
If you decide to park at the Wahkeena Falls parking area, the falls are only a short walk from the parking lot. Follow the well-marked Wahkeena Trail #420, which is accessible and leads you directly to the beautiful Wahkeena Falls. The trail is relatively easy and provides stunning views along the way.
