Getting There

Car
If you are driving, the easiest way to reach Angel's Rest Lookout is to take I-84 East from Portland. Follow I-84 for approximately 20 miles and take Exit 28 toward Corbett. After exiting, turn left onto NE Marine Drive, then take a right onto Historic Columbia River Highway (Hwy 30). Continue on this road for about 7 miles until you reach the Angel's Rest Trailhead parking area on the right side. Note that parking is limited, and there is no fee to park at the trailhead.

Public Transportation
To reach Angel's Rest Lookout via public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail from downtown Portland to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Columbia Area Transit bus (Route 77) heading towards Corbett. Get off at the stop near the Historic Columbia River Highway. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the Angel's Rest Trailhead. Please check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
