If you're driving, take US-395 S from any location in Lake County. Depending on where you are, it might take different routes to reach John Day. Once you reach John Day, look for signs indicating Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site or follow these steps: From the center of John Day, head east on W Main St toward N Canyon Blvd. Continue onto OR-26 E for about 1.5 miles. The site will be on your right. There’s parking available on-site.
