From Islamabad, head to the nearest bus station, such as the Faizabad Interchange. Look for a bus heading towards Rawalpindi. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Taxila. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After getting off, you can either take a local rickshaw or walk towards the Taxila Museum. The museum is located near the Bhir Mound City Walls, just follow the signs or ask locals for guidance.
