Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Faisal Mosque, head north on the main road towards the Margalla Hills. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto the road leading into the Margalla Hills National Park. Keep walking straight; you will see signs pointing towards Daman-e-Koh. The path is well marked and approximately 2 km from the intersection. The hike will take about 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy scenic views along the way.

Bus
From Aabpara bus station, take a local bus heading towards the Margalla Hills. Ask the bus driver or conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop for Daman-e-Koh. Once you get off, you will have to walk about 1 km uphill on a paved path to reach the viewpoint. Be prepared for a slight incline but enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding you.

Rickshaw
You can hire a rickshaw from any central location in Islamabad (like Centaurus Mall). Inform the driver you want to go to Daman-e-Koh. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off at the parking area near the viewpoint. From there, it’s a short walk of about 500 meters to the actual viewpoint.
