Getting There

Walking
If you are in the city center or near Pakistan Monument, head towards Constitution Avenue. Walk straight along Constitution Avenue until you reach the intersection with 9th Avenue. Cross over to the other side of the road and continue walking straight. You will pass several parks and green spaces on your way. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see signs pointing towards Shakarparian View Point. Follow these signs which will lead you up a slight incline. The View Point will be on your left.

Public Transport
From various locations in Islamabad, you can take a local bus heading towards the Faizabad Interchange. Get off at Faizabad and transfer to a bus or rickshaw that goes towards Shakarparian. Make sure to inform the driver or conductor of your destination. Once you reach the Shakarparian area, it will be a short walk uphill to the View Point. It is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from where the bus drops you off.

You can easily find a rickshaw from various points in Islamabad, such as the Centaurus Mall or Faisal Mosque. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Shakarparian View Point.
