Getting there

Car

From Naran, drive south on the N-15 road towards Kaghan. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the small town of Balakot. Continue driving on the N-15 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Battal. Turn left onto the road towards Battal and follow it for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Battal. From Battal, you can take a local jeep or 4x4 vehicle towards Konsh Valley, which is about 20 kilometers further. The road can be rough, so a 4x4 is recommended.

Public Transportation

If you are traveling by public transport, take a bus from Naran to Balakot. From Balakot, you will need to hire a taxi to reach Battal, where you can catch a local jeep or 4x4 to Konsh Valley. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, especially for the jeep ride, as prices may vary. The total cost for public transport options can range from 500 to 1500 PKR depending on the mode and distance.

Local Jeep/4x4

Once you are in Battal, you will find local drivers offering jeep services to Konsh Valley. It's essential to agree on the price before starting your journey. The jeep ride will take around 30-40 minutes depending on road conditions. Expect to pay around 2000 to 3000 PKR for a round trip. Make sure to check for the availability and timing of the return trip, as local drivers may not wait indefinitely.
