Getting There

• Hiking

  Starting from the main bazaar in Kaghan, head towards the north along the main road. You'll pass by several small shops and local eateries. Continue on this path for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Sarsoon River. Here, take the left turn onto a lesser-known trail that leads into the hills. Follow this trail for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding mountains. After about 1.5 hours of hiking, you will arrive at the base of Siri Lake. The final ascent to the lake will take an additional 30 minutes, where you will find yourself at the picturesque Siri Lake, known for its stunning natural beauty.

• Trekking

  If you prefer a guided experience, look for local trekking companies in Kaghan's bazaar offering group treks to Siri Lake. These treks usually start early in the morning and include a guide who will lead you through the beautiful landscapes. The trek typically involves a 6 to 7-hour hike with breaks, ensuring you can enjoy the breathtaking views and natural surroundings. Remember to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry enough water and snacks.

  For a more relaxed journey, inquire about horse riding options available at the local stables in Kaghan. Many stables offer rides to Siri Lake, which can be a delightful way to experience the area. The horse ride to the lake will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on the pace and the route taken.
