If you are traveling by car, start from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Drive along the Neelum Valley Road (N-1) heading towards Neelum Valley. After approximately 30 kilometers, you'll reach the junction for Domail Point. Take the left fork towards the Domail/Domail Point. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the designated parking area near the confluence of the Neelum and Jhelum rivers. Ensure you have cash on hand for any tolls or parking fees, which can vary.
Public Transportation
To reach Domail Point using public transportation, begin your journey from Muzaffarabad. Head to the main bus terminal and catch a 'Coaster' or local minibus heading towards Neelum Valley. The fare is typically around PKR 200-300. Inform the driver that you wish to disembark at the Domail junction. The journey should take around 1-1.5 hours. From the junction, you can either walk to Domail Point (approximately 3-4 kilometers) or hire a local taxi for a small fee (around PKR 500-800) to cover the remaining distance.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Muzaffarabad to Domail Point. This option will be more expensive, costing around PKR 2000-3000, but it provides a comfortable and convenient way to reach your destination. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes.
