From the Rawalpindi Railway Station, walk to the nearby Saddar area. You can find auto-rickshaws or local buses near the main road that leads to Islamabad. Take an auto-rickshaw to Aabpara Market in Islamabad, which is a popular hub. Once you reach Aabpara, you can either walk or take another auto-rickshaw to Shakarparian Road. The Lok Virsa Heritage Museum is located on Garden Avenue, just off Shakarparian Road. It's approximately a 15-minute walk from Aabpara.

Start at the Rawalpindi Bus Terminal (near Committee Chowk). Take a Daewoo bus heading towards Islamabad. Get off at Faizabad Interchange. The museum is a short distance from the road, so you may need to walk a little.
