To reach the Pakistan Museum of Natural History, start by finding the nearest bus stop to your location in Rawalpindi. You can take the Metro Bus from any major stop, such as the Saddar or Committee Chowk stations. Take the bus heading towards Islamabad. Once you reach the Peshawar Mor stop, transfer to a local bus or a rickshaw going towards Shakarparian National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the park entrance. From there, the museum is a short walk inside the park.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a rickshaw from any location in Rawalpindi. Simply tell the rickshaw driver, 'Shakarparian National Park' or 'Pakistan Museum of Natural History.' They will take you directly to the entrance of the park. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask if the driver uses the meter.

If you are close enough to Shakarparian National Park, you can opt to walk. Start from a recognizable landmark, such as the Rawalpindi Railway Station, and head towards the Islamabad Expressway. Follow the expressway towards the center of Islamabad. Once you reach the intersection with Garden Avenue, turn right and continue straight until you enter Shakarparian National Park. The museum is located within the park, so follow the signs.
