Walking
If you are in the central area of Rawalpindi, start by heading towards the Murree Road (also known as Saddar), which is a major commercial area. From here, you can walk north towards the Faizabad Interchange. Once you reach the Faizabad Interchange, you will find buses and rickshaws that can take you to Islamabad. Board a bus heading towards 'Zero Point' or 'Aabpara'. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the Zero Point area.

Public Transport (Bus/Rickshaw)
From Zero Point, take a local rickshaw or a bus heading towards the Islamabad Expressway. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Shakarparian'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. As you approach Shakarparian, keep an eye out for the park entrance on your left side, which is well-marked.

Once you arrive at the entrance of Shakarparian National Park, you can explore the park by walking. The park has numerous walking trails, scenic views, and spots for relaxation. Make sure to check the opening hours, as the park opens at 9 AM and closes at 7 PM (except on Fridays when it closes at midnight).
