Walking
Start your journey from the center of Buka. Make your way to the main road, which is known as the Buka Ring Road. Head south along this road until you reach the local market area. From the market, continue walking south until you reach the intersection near the Buka Airport. At the intersection, look for a sign pointing towards the Bomana Cemetery. Follow the signs and continue walking straight ahead. The Bomana War Cemetery is located about 2 kilometers from the airport intersection. You will see the entrance on your right side, marked with a stone archway.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Buka. Begin at the Buka Ring Road and cycle south towards the local market. After passing the market, continue cycling straight until you reach the intersection near the airport. At this point, look for the signs indicating the direction to the Bomana War Cemetery. Cycle along the path indicated by the signs, and after approximately 2 kilometers, the cemetery will be on your right. You can park your bicycle at the entrance.

Public Transport (Bus/Minibus)
Locate the bus station in Buka near the local market area. Look for a bus or minibus heading towards the airport or directly to Bomana. Confirm with the driver that the route includes a stop at Bomana War Cemetery. Once on the bus, inform the driver where you want to get off. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The bus will stop near the entrance of the cemetery, where you can disembark and walk in.
