Start at the Rabaul Town Centre. Head east on the main road, heading towards the Matupit Island ferry terminal. Continue along the road which leads you to the coast. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, you can ask a local for directions or take a boat to Matupit Island. The boat ride will take about 10-15 minutes. After arriving on Matupit Island, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Rababa Hot Springs, which is located a short walk inland from the island's beach.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at Rabaul Town Centre and ride east along the main coastal road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the ferry terminal. Park your bicycle securely and take the ferry to Matupit Island. After disembarking, follow the path leading inland towards Rababa Hot Springs. The total journey should take about 30-45 minutes, including the ferry ride.
