Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in the downtown area of Asunción, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for bus lines that go towards the 'Botanical Garden' or 'Zoo'. Get off at the stop nearest to Av Primer Presidente, then walk south towards the entrance of the Botanical Garden and Zoo, which is located at Av Primer Presidente y. Follow the signs to the main entrance.

  If you are staying near Plaza de los Héroes, you can walk to the Botanical Garden and Zoo. Head east on Avenida William E. Hunter toward Avenida Mariscal López. Turn right on Avenida Mariscal López and walk straight until you reach Avenida Primer Presidente. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the entrance of the Botanical Garden and Zoo, which should be on your right.

  For a more convenient option, consider using a taxi or rideshare service. You can hail a taxi from the street or use a rideshare app. Provide the driver with the address: 'Av Primer Presidente y, Asunción'. The ride should take approximately 10-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. From the downtown area, head towards Avenida Mariscal López, then turn onto Avenida Primer Presidente. Follow this road directly to the entrance of the Botanical Garden and Zoo. There are bike lanes available for a safer ride.
