Walking
If you are in the center of Asuncion, start from Plaza Uruguaya. Head south on Calle Estados Unidos until you reach Avenida Fulgencio Yegros. Turn right on Avenida Fulgencio Yegros and continue until you reach the intersection with Calle Estrella. Turn left on Calle Estrella and walk straight. After a few blocks, you will see Plaza de los Héroes on your right. The plaza is easily identifiable by its large green space and monuments.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Mercado 4 area, find a bus that goes towards the city center. You can take bus number 6, 15, or 30. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Plaza de la Independencia stop. Once you get off, walk down Calle Estrella heading east. After a short walk, you will arrive at Plaza de los Héroes, which will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they run frequently throughout the day.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Costanera, a popular waterfront area. Head towards Avenida de la República and follow the bike lanes that lead into the city center. Once you reach Avenida Fulgencio Yegros, turn left and continue until you get to Calle Estrella. Turn right on Calle Estrella and the Plaza de los Héroes will be a short distance ahead on your right.
