Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of San Bernardino, at the Plaza de San Bernardino. From the plaza, head southeast on Av. 14 de Mayo for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Av. San Juan. Turn left onto Av. San Juan and continue straight for about 700 meters. Look for a sign that says 'Gruta de la Iglesia' and follow the path leading up the hill. The Gruta is approximately 300 meters from the main road, and you will see a small trail leading to it.

Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops near the Plaza de San Bernardino. From the plaza, cycle southeast down Av. 14 de Mayo for about 500 meters. At the intersection with Av. San Juan, turn left and keep biking straight for about 700 meters. As you approach the hill where Gruta de la Iglesia is located, park your bike at the base. There will be a clearly marked path about 300 meters uphill to the Gruta.
