Getting There

  • Bus

    Start at the Allentown Transportation Center located at 3250 Airport Road. Take the LANTA bus number 220 towards 'Schnecksville'. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'Schnecksville Road & Orchard Road'. From the bus stop, walk north on Orchard Road for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10 minutes) until you reach the entrance of Trexler Nature Preserve at 4935 Orchard Rd. The preserve has several trails and scenic views to enjoy.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop in Allentown. Start at the center of Allentown and head towards the Lehigh Parkway. Follow the park paths that lead towards the north. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection of Cedar Crest Boulevard and Schnecksville Road. From there, take Schnecksville Road north until you reach Orchard Road. Turn left onto Orchard Road and continue straight for about 1 mile until you see the entrance of Trexler Nature Preserve.
