If you are near the downtown area of Erie, you can take the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) bus route 7 which heads towards the West. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop. Stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. You will need to get off at the stop closest to W 38th St and Peach St. From there, walk west on W 38th St for about 10 minutes until you reach the Erie Zoo at 423 W 38th St.

If you are staying in a hotel or nearby location around the area of West 38th Street, simply head west on W 38th St. The Erie Zoo is located between Peach St and West 38th St intersection. If you’re coming from the Peach Street area, walk west on W 38th St for approximately 10-15 minutes until you see the entrance to the zoo on your right.

If you have a bike, you can use the bike lanes along Peach St. Start from downtown Erie and bike north on Peach St. Once you reach W 38th St, turn left and continue biking for about 5 minutes until you reach the Erie Zoo. There is bike parking available near the entrance.
