    From the Erie Downtown area, you can catch the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) bus route 1 at the Bayfront Parkway. Look for the bus stop near the Erie Maritime Museum. Board the bus heading towards the West 38th Street stop. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the West 38th Street stop. From there, walk south on West 38th Street for about 5 minutes. The Erie Zoo will be on your left at 423 W 38th St.

    If you're within walking distance, for example, from the Erie Maritime Museum, head west on State Street until you reach 38th Street. Turn left onto 38th Street and continue going south. The Erie Zoo will be located at 423 W 38th St, which is about a 30-minute walk from the museum.
