Car
If you're driving from downtown York, PA, take US-30 E for approximately 10 miles. Merge onto I-83 S toward Baltimore, and continue for about 6 miles. Take exit 24 for PA-462 W toward Hallam. Continue on PA-462 W for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Accomac Rd. Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve will be on your left after approximately 0.5 miles. There is no parking fee at the preserve.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Rabbit Transit Route 3 bus from York to Hallam. This route runs several times a day, so check the Rabbit Transit schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Hallam, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve. Head south on S Main St, then turn left onto PA-462 W (Market St). After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Accomac Rd. The preserve will be on your left. Please note that public transportation schedules may vary and it's advisable to check ahead.

If you're biking, a scenic route from York involves taking the Heritage Rail Trail South. Start at the trailhead in York and follow the trail for about 8 miles until you reach the Hallam area. Once you exit the trail, navigate to PA-462 W and then turn right onto Accomac Rd. The preserve is located a short distance from the intersection. Ensure you have a bike lock, as there may be areas to secure your bike once you arrive.
