If you are near the Andy Warhol Museum, start by heading east on Sandusky Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Commonwealth Place. Turn left onto Commonwealth Place and walk straight for about 0.3 miles. You will see Point State Park on your right. The Fort Pitt Museum is located within the park at 601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. The museum is a short walk from the park entrance.

From the North Shore, you can catch the Port Authority bus number 1 towards East Liberty. Board the bus at the stop closest to you. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the Wood Street stop in Downtown Pittsburgh. From there, walk south on Wood Street for 0.4 miles until you reach Point State Park. The Fort Pitt Museum is located within the park at 601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Note that a single bus fare costs $2.75.
