Walking
If you are in downtown Scranton, start at the Lackawanna County Courthouse on North Washington Avenue. Head south on Washington Avenue for two blocks until you reach Lackawanna Avenue. Turn left (east) onto Lackawanna Avenue and walk for about five blocks until you reach the intersection with Cliff Street. Turn right (south) onto Cliff Street, and you will see Steamtown National Historic Site on your left at 350 Cliff St.

From the Scranton Transit Center at 1230 Lackawanna Avenue, take the Route 3 bus towards the South Side. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Cliff Street stop. Once you disembark, walk south on Cliff Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Steamtown National Historic Site located at 350 Cliff St.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Scranton. Head south on Washington Avenue, then turn left onto Lackawanna Avenue. Follow Lackawanna Avenue to Cliff Street. Turn right and bike south on Cliff Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Steamtown National Historic Site at 350 Cliff St.
