From any location in Cebu City, head to the South Bus Terminal located at N. Bacalso Avenue. You can take a taxi or a local jeepney to get there. Once at the South Bus Terminal, look for buses heading to Lapu-Lapu City. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the Lapu-Lapu City Market.

After getting off at Lapu-Lapu City Market, head to the nearby jeepney terminal. Look for a jeepney with the sign 'Mactan' or 'Marigondon.' Take this jeepney which will take you closer to the Mactan Channel. The fare is very affordable, usually less than 20 pesos. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Mactan Ferry Terminal.

At the Mactan Ferry Terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Olango Island. The ferry departs regularly, but it’s best to check the schedule upon arrival. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views of the waters as you approach Olango Island.
