Walking
From the center of Sagada, start at the Sagada Municipal Hall. Head east on the main road (Bokong Road) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction near the Sagada Public Market. At the junction, take the road leading to the left towards the entrance of the Echo Valley. Continue walking straight for another 1 kilometer until you arrive at the main road leading to the town of Bauko. You will pass by several local shops and eateries along the way. Look for signage directing to Mt. Ampacao.

Hiking
Once you reach the main road, look for the trailhead that leads to Mt. Ampacao. This trail is marked and is about a 1.5 to 2-hour hike to the summit. The trail starts off gently but will become steeper as you ascend. Follow the path, and you will see natural landmarks such as pine trees and rock formations. Keep an eye out for local guides who can assist you if needed. The trail will lead you directly to the SMART Cellular Tower at the summit, which is the landmark of Mt. Ampacao.
