Getting There

Hiking
From the center of Sagada, head towards the main road (Hannagan Road). Start walking in the direction of the entrance to the Sumaguing Cave. Continue walking along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction leading to the road heading towards Besao. At this junction, take a left turn onto the Besao road. Keep walking for approximately 4 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and a few residential areas. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to Mt. Polis. After another 2 kilometers, you will see a path leading uphill towards Mt. Polis on your right. Follow this path, which may be steep and rocky, for about 1 kilometer until you reach the summit of Mt. Polis.

Tricycle
From the center of Sagada, walk to the nearest tricycle terminal. This is usually located near the Sagada Municipal Hall. Once you reach the terminal, ask the driver to take you to Mt. Polis. The ride will take around 30 minutes. The tricycle will drop you off at the foot of the mountain, from where you will need to hike for approximately 1 kilometer up the path leading to the summit. The tricycle fare should be discussed and confirmed with the driver before the ride.
