Walking
Start your journey from the center of Sagada where the main road is located. Head towards the Sagada Public Market. From the market, take the path leading to the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. Continue past the church and follow the road that leads to the entrance of Echo Valley. This will lead you towards the hanging coffins, which is a well-known landmark in Sagada. From the Hanging Coffins, look for a path that heads downhill towards the rice terraces. You will encounter some local houses and beautiful views along the way. Follow the path that goes through the rice fields until you reach a fork. Take the left path which leads towards a trail that goes deeper into the hills. After about 30-45 minutes of walking, you should start to notice signs pointing towards Pusong (Dalican). Keep following the trail until you reach Pusong (Dalican), which is known for its scenic views and tranquil atmosphere.
Hiking
For those seeking a more adventurous route, start from the Sagada Town Center and head towards the path leading to the Underground River. The trail will take you through lush forests and will be slightly uphill, so wear appropriate hiking shoes. After about an hour of hiking, you will arrive at the viewpoint overlooking the river, which is a great place to take a break. From here, continue your hike by following the trail that leads to the upper ridge. This path is less traveled but will take you through some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After approximately another hour of hiking, you will come across a sign that indicates the direction to Pusong (Dalican). Follow this sign, and you will soon arrive at your destination, where you can enjoy the serene environment.
