Getting There

Walking
From the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, walk towards the main road, Rizal Highway. Once you reach Rizal Highway, head north towards the direction of Olongapo City. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the road leading to the former U.S. Navy Base. Turn left at the junction and follow the road until you see a sign for Balon Falls. The falls are approximately a 30-minute walk from this junction.

While in Subic, you can catch a tricycle from any popular tourist spot, such as the Subic Bay Yacht Club. Tell the driver that you want to go to Balon Falls. They will take you directly to the entrance of the falls. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

From the central area of Subic, you can take a jeepney heading towards Olongapo. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Balon Falls or the junction leading to it. Once you get off, you may need to walk for about 20-30 minutes, following the directions to the falls as described previously.
