If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the main street, Mayor Vitaliano Agan Avenue. Head southwest along this road until you reach the intersection with Valderoza Street. Turn left onto Valderoza Street, and continue walking straight. Rizal Park will be on your right side, just a short walk down the road.

Tricycle
From any point in Zamboanga City, you can easily catch a tricycle. Simply tell the driver 'Rizal Park' or 'Valderoza Street.' Most drivers will know where it is. The tricycle will take you directly to the park, and the fare is usually around 10-20 PHP depending on the distance from your starting point.

Public Jeepney
Locate a jeepney terminal and board a jeepney with a route that passes through or near the city center. Inform the driver that you are going to Rizal Park. Once you reach the stop nearest to the park, get off and walk a short distance to Valderoza Street. From there, the park will be easily visible.
