Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Nowy Targ. Head south on DK47 towards the village of Łopuszna. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto the road leading to the Gorce National Park. Continue driving for about 8 km until you reach the Polana Skalne parking area. There is a small parking lot available, but be aware that it may fill up quickly during weekends and holidays. A parking fee of approximately 10 PLN may apply.

Public Transportation
To reach Polana Skalne using public transportation, take a bus from Nowy Targ to the village of Zabrzeż. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Zabrzeż, you will need to walk approximately 3 km along a marked trail that leads directly to Polana Skalne. Be sure to wear suitable footwear as the trail can be uneven and steep in some areas. Keep in mind that the bus fare is around 5 PLN.

Hiking
If you're already in the Gorce Mountains and prefer hiking, you can start from the nearest village, either from Raba Niżna or from Zabrzeż. From Raba Niżna, follow the yellow trail, which takes you through beautiful forested areas and leads you to Polana Skalne in about 1.5 to 2 hours. The hike is moderate in difficulty. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the journey.
